How AANR-TRACER handles the information you choose to share.

What we collect

AANR-TRACER doesn't require an account. The information you enter during the assessment — your technology's name, description, type, funding source, responsible agency, and your answers to the readiness questionnaire — stays in your browser until you submit. If you ask us to email you a copy of your report, we additionally use the name, email address, organization, and role you provide for that one email. We do not collect government ID numbers, bank details, or anything beyond what you choose to enter.

Why we collect it

Your answers are used to calculate your TRACER level and generate a roadmap toward commercialization. Upon submission, a summary of your assessment is sent to DOST–PCAARRD for monitoring, evaluation, research, and program improvement. We do not sell or share your information for any other purpose.

Cookies and local storage

AANR-TRACER sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Your in-progress assessment is held in your browser's session storage and is cleared once you submit or leave the results page. The only other thing saved on your device is your preferred text size, kept in local storage purely for accessibility.

Who else handles your data

  • OpenAI generates your personalized roadmap and chatbot replies. It receives the technology description and chat messages you provide, not your name or email.
  • Resend sends the assessment summary to DOST–PCAARRD and, if you request one, emails your report to the recipient you choose.
  • Upstash is used only to rate-limit requests and stores request counts by IP address, not the content of what you submit.
  • AANR-TRACER itself uses no analytics or advertising services.

How long we keep your data

Assessment data is not stored on our servers beyond the time needed to process your request. Your in-browser session is cleared automatically after you submit or start a new assessment. Once a summary or report has been emailed to DOST–PCAARRD or a recipient of your choosing, it exists in that inbox independent of this application.

Download or export your data

There's no account to manage — you can download, print, or email a copy of your own assessment report anytime before leaving the results page. Once you navigate away, that data cannot be recovered, so export a copy first if you'd like to keep one.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173), you may ask to see, correct, or erase personal data concerning you, and you may object to how it is used. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
